We are seeking an Director of Operations for our bakery! In this role, you will oversee the general operations within our bakery and ensure that logistical needs are met.You will be the implementer. You will coordinate with vendors, customers, handle purchasing/billing, and maintain stock of all supplies including inventory management of all our product within our bakery and at our ghost kitchen locations. You will be an essential part of the smooth daily operation of our business. Should be able to fulfill various duties and responsibilities in our bakery. You should be able to work closely with the owner, head baker, and marketing to create and assist with multiple projects concerning resources, inventory, social media, customer service, baking, and order fulfillment. The following are additional duties and responsibilities that our operations coordinator should be able to do.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and update files as needed
  • Answer phones, emails, and conduct basic clerical work
  • Keep rooms clean, neat, and well-stocked
  • Inventory management - keeping track on all bakery ingredients and supplies
  • Keeping track of inventory to ensure orders are ready to go
  • Calculating inventory at our different locations
  • Fulfilling all e-commerce orders
  • Submitting Purchase Orders for our ghost kitchens and delivery driver
  • Help develop production and baking list for our baking team
  • Assist with packaging cookies on high volume production days
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
  • Assisting with social media post and marketing
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly

  • filed and stored
  • Direct correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting

  • minutes and emails
  • Communicate with team and owner to identify and define weekly goals and objectives
  • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses, sales and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Weighing, pricing, and packaging purchased items, as well as processing payments
  • Managing the baking ingredients inventory and requesting the purchase of stock
  • Tracking ingredient expiration dates and arranging their use accordingly
  • Reporting low baked goods stock to the Head Baker in a timely manner
  • Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for

  • meetings, and reordering supplies
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
